🔐 The SCBA's electronic notifications portal won't let you work with Linux… yet the very component they require DOES work on Linux.
We've spent 10 years documenting this barrier. Today, backed by official sources, we prove something no other analysis has shown until now: SETCCE proXSign —the mandatory cryptographic component of the PyNE portal— has a native version for Ubuntu, Debian, and Fedora.
The exclusion of GNU/Linux isn't technical. It's a support policy decision.
📅 On August 1, 2026, the SCBA's electronic signature infrastructure shuts down permanently.
From that date on, only AC-ONTI digital signatures will be accepted.
If your operating system isn't on the list, you're locked out.
The article includes:
🔹 Documented evidence with official SCBA links
🔹 Table of platforms actually supported by proXSign
🔹 Installation procedure for Ubuntu and Debian
🔹 Model formal letter to submit to the Court
🔹 Conceptual proposal for a combined tokenless system (Annex B)
This isn't just a technical article: it's a tool to defend your right to choose which software you work with.
